I have a Nikon d80 and took a lot of pictures on the fine setting, now i need them to be alot smaller to show friends. Any good programs that are not illegal downloads? Thanks in advance

Picasa 2

Very easy to use and from a trusted company.

Yes, it's free.

To resize:
1) Select picture
2) Click Export
3) Under Image Size Options select "Resize to"
4) Adjust the value to the desired size.
5) Ok

Note: You can click multiple pictures and do the steps 2-5 above and it will all resize your pics. Also, it saves the original size and saves the new size to a new folder.

Picasa is a good site that I stumbled on to yesterday. It has all the basic tools and should be great for what you want.
