It is uncomfortable to wear a ring on your left hand because you've never married before. Now that you are going to it is time to adjust to the new ring finger. No, it's not terrible if you wear it on your right but kind of defeats the purpose. You could always just tattoo the rings on.

It's customary to wear them on the left hand. Some people have worn their engagement ring on the right hand, and their wedding ring on the left hand. But I've never seen both rings worn on the right hand in this country. While at first it may feel uncomfortable, if just you keep wearing them on the left hand, you'll get used to it. And after awhile, believe it or not, it will actually feel weird if you don't have them on.

For me, it was a little uncomfortable to wear my engagement ring on my left hand as well. I used to wear a lot of rings, but never on my left ring finger. It was strange at first, but after a little while it was better. Four years later...with wedding ring of course, I don't even notice it is there. But don't worry, it didn't take four years to not be uncomfortable. Just give it a little time and see if it gets better. If not, tell your fiance, or husband. Maybe you both could wear them on your right hands. Congrats, and good luck.

Traditionally it's worn on the left hand ring finger because that is the finger with the closest bloodline to your heart. However, many religions and cultures wear then wedding ring on the right hand. I don't know specifically what religions and cultures, but I do know that the Greek culture wears it on the right hand.

Sure you can. Wearing a wedding/engagement ring on the left hand is a matter of "tradition"...and that traditin changes based on what country/religion you are from/in. For example, in Greece rings are traditionally worn on the right hand.

Terrible, no. But, no one would realize it was a wedding/engagement ring. If that's not important to you, then go for it...no judgement from me!
It does take some getting used to, but you will adjust if you decide to keep it on the left. I know it took me FOREVER to get used to having a ring on the left, but it's all good now.

It is tradition to wear it on the left as to be closest to your heart. But it is up to you where you wear it. It use to bug me to wear a ring on my left hand too, not sure why. I'm right handed if that matters, but I got use to it. After awhile you don't notice anymore. Just so you aren't doing it for any other reasons like not wanting people to see it on your left hand and know you are taken? If your hubbie won't mind and you don't - do what makes you comfortable.

it's a tradition to wear them on your left hand, but if you really must, you can wear them on your right hand.. do whatever makes YOU feel comfortable!!!!
you can also try wearing your engagement ring on your left hand and your wedding band on your right or vice versa and see how that feels and then gradually get used to wearing them on your left hand!!

If you keep the rings on your left all the time starting now...eventually you'll be adapt to it...so it's not wrong to wear on your right, but try to keep it on your left where it's suppose to be.
