I was born again more than 20 years ago and I thank God every day for sacrificing His son for our sins. I know I am not worthy of His love and forgiveness, but I pray that, one day, I might become the true intended me. I look forward to going to Heaven when God is done with me here. Until then, I strive to do my best and allow Him to use me as an instrument of His peace and love.

Yes, I have been saved. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Also I'd like to ask the other Christians that come to these boards to please pray for the ones that think it's out of line for one to post a question about being a child of God in the religion & spirituality section. It would probably be OK if they posted, "Are you an atheist?" Remember, Jesus loves them, too. Praise the Lord.

Yes I am! I am so glad that God has adopted me and delivered me from the grip of Satan and his demonic forces by the Blood of Jesus, my Lord. I am His and He is mine and I love the relationship that I have with God. I never knew that this was possible until God filled me with His Holy Spirit. He has given me joy and peace and eternal life here and now. May all who read this believe God and His redeeming power through Jesus Christ, the Son of the Most High God.

The Scripture is in limited reference to the people of Israel that at least some of them received what he offered, resulting in “…authority to become Gods children…” The scripture go’s on about these individual were not born into this relation as a result of mans will, but Gods will.
Not matter how good intentioned a person is in wanting others to be of this kind or that a person wishes to be of this kind, one could not accept unless the offer is presented.
Has the offer been presented to you.

Faith in his son and repentance of sin and being willing to live His Word makes us a child of God. Therefore I am a child of God.

ok at the starting up how ought to you positioned away infantile issues and nevertheless keep the softness of coronary heart that a baby has? merely as you suggested it. you positioned away infantile habit (like immaturity, irresponsibility, etc.) yet you keep the softness of coronary heart that a baby has (being concerned, loving, accepting, purity). once you settle for Jesus into your coronary heart as your Lord and Savior, you've change right into a baby (or son) of God because you're giving up your worldly ideas to change into like Christ. type of like how the Bible makes use of "Christ", "Lord", "Jesus", "God", "Father", etc yet all of them propose an similar individual. so a ideas because the girls of God area, Jesus isn't except for women right here. The Bible merely makes use of adult males as a connection with each and each person of all genders, so adult males and females. We nevertheless do this at present human beings say "Come on adult males" yet they could say it to a collection of adult males or women, you understand? properly the Bible is doing an similar project. If this does no longer fairly make experience to you, please experience free to e-mail me and ask more effective questions.

Yes. And I think that all humans are children of God. Who else is our father? Only God, right?
Now what this passage means is something else. And in that sense I am also a child of God. And I am not a fundamentalist. So figure that!!
