lately there is this guy who everyone thinks is adorable in my mormon church...
i dont like him and im not in love with him, but for some reason they r telling me they think we will b perfect 2gether...
im not interested and i dont even wanna go on a date with him...he is not my type and he will never be...
i feel like they r forcing me to b w/ someone i dont even wanna like and love......
yes, he is nice and all but i dont think i will ever fall in love with him..i know im shallow in some ways but i dont want an average looking guy...i want a HOT and i mean HOT guy...
he is def not HOT so i said no to go on a date w/ him...
everyone thinks im mean and shallow...and they think im a bad person now...
it just makes me angry that people expect me to do something that i dont want...what can i do to get my good image back?

Good luck with that. Do you consider yourself HOT? Because good looking men usually want to date REALLY good looking women. And if you are not, then you might be out of luck.
It does sound to me that you might be limiting yourself. Why wouldn't you also add that he should be a NICE person with some INTELLIGENCE and maybe some similar interests. Much more lasting qualities than "HOT".

There is more to a person than how they look and now is as good of time to learn that as any. And if all you are looking for is a "HOT" guy then yes you are a bit shallow and should work on that. But at the same time who you chose to date or marry is something only you can decided and no one should force you to be with some one you don't want to be with.

If you do not feel attraction to this guy (physical or emotional), then he is not for you. Don't let anyone tell you who you should date. How can you two have a future if you can't even bring yourself to take the first step?
It's up to the guy to sweep you off your feet. There's no charity in love at the expense of your own happiness.
As for getting your good image back. To your close friends, explain how important it is to you that you get that spark when you first meet someone that tell you that there's a possibility between the two of you. Just like you don't want someone who's hot but has nothing else going for him, you don't want someone who's just nice but can't excite you romantically. As for the rest of church, well, be your own person. You are not defined solely by how others think of you.

Not everyone thinks you should marry a Mormon! You can do so much better than that. If you dont want to date the person, then DONT DO IT!!!!

And to get your image back, tell them that even though you don't want to date him, you'd give him head anyway. And then do it.

you think you won't like him. but you should just give it a try.
yes, maybe after the 1st date, he's still not your type. but maybe you would have one hell of a time when you're with him. and sometimes, fling like that start from hate. then slowly, you don't realize that you're falling for this person. :)
just give it a try. give him a chance.
everyone in this world deserves a chance right? :)

you dont like him/you dont like him/you dont like him/but the morman church loves the guy.so do what the morman church wants you to do.and maybe in 15 ta20 years you might like the morman guy .if not ,it wont matter you will have had 6 children and will be trying to get them to marry a moman.
