I know Jesus is the savior, why can't I accept him into my heart?

I'm into like dark things like death metal, satan, and demons.

I know jesus is the savior, but I can't accept him in my heart, how can I fix this?

is it just a teenage phase or something.

I had a problem like yours...and I still do sometimes. Its hard to accept something that you havent seen with your own eyes. In my country many miracles happen in the name of st. mary, christ, etc. Even some to people I know. Hearing these stories and reading about miracles helps me a lot when it comes to accepting jesus because it gives me something good to think of, and the good the jesus still does! Go to a website or something that tells you about miracles and stuff. It will help you love jesus and his good works. Another thing that could maybe be your problem is regular prayer and reading the bible or attendng church....its hard to accept that jesus is the savior if you dont do those things. But i dont know if you do or not...im not assuming anything.

Good, you know He is the savior! Many people won't even admit that. You can accept Him, but you have to want to. Confess your sins and ask him to forgive you. Ask Him to help you. He understands, this is what He wants. Then start reading His word and have daily fellowship with Him. Get rid of all the dark evil things you are into. There may not be a big change over night but continue, He's waiting for you to make the first move. He loves you!

When a vessel is full, there is no room for anything to be added to its contents. It's just full.......

A heart is a vessel also, and can be filled with so much unnecessary stuff that it will not allow anything else in.......

If a person were to empty some of the excess baggage from the heart, there would be room to add something that one really has a yearning for. It might be necessary for you to do some heart cleaning to make room for additional items to be placed in the heart. It is true that the heart is as vast as the ocean. If you truly want goodness to enter the heart, grab a broom and start sweeping. Remember clean as you go, don't wait till the trash has reached such a level, that its removal becomes to great a task!
Be determined and you will reach your goal...............

All these people telling you that Satan has taken you over are nut jobs. They're trying to scare you back into following Jesus by threatening you with an image that has been drilled into your mind as evil since you were a child. If their god was all powerful, he would've eliminated Satan a long time ago and the need to question Jesus.

You have to find, and then EAT Jesus. That's how all the disciples did it. They found the body of Jesus, and then ate him. He was not only at the last supper, he actually WAS the last supper. That's why there are no remains. The tradition still holds today, only now we know it as 'searching for christ, and holy communion (as opposed to holy cannibalism).

Without doing this, you may or may not be able to accept Jesus, but by doing this, they will all agree that you actually HAVE taken Jesus into your heart, by way of the stomach, just like they do.

You'll have to let go of all the "dark" things in your life. It's all up to you. I know that when I've been in "dark" times in my life, I felt so lost, so far away, and guilty.
Is it that you're thinking you're not ready? You know confusion comes from Satan. Everything negative is of him, and everything positive comes of the Lord.

I would say because you are not honest with yourself. Knowing is not enough. We all know that junk food is bad for us, so why do we continue eating it? Look at the history of Christians and Atheist. You will find that Christians are happier and more productive and so are their children. Then look at the history of the atheist. You will find emptiness, homicide, addiction, satanism and mental problems galore. Don't be fooled! Talk to God the same way you talk to a friend and see what happens. Be honest, tell Him what you feel, He can take it. Go for it!! Star living for real now!!! Do it! Then tell the world what happened!

We all make a conscious decision to entertain thoughts in our heads. Good thoughts or bad thoughts, the things we dwell on are the things that will manifest themselves into our lives. Even the demons know that Christ Jesus is God Almighty and they shudder at the mention of His Holy name.
Believing In Christ Jesus is not enough, we must choose to let Him change us and purge the sin from our lives. Start making a conscious effort to reject the bad thoughts and influences in your life and replace them with Godly thoughts and desires. You cannot know God, if you treasure the things of this world more than Him.

Jesus is the light of the world, but your heart is filled with darkness. When you are ready to turn from the darkness and towards the light, Jesus will be waiting for you. Repentance, turning away from darkness and sin, is the first step to turning your life over to him.

Satan want to keep you as His own. He will do everything in His ability...limited though it is to keep from loosing you. You need spiritual help. I suggest you go see an Assemblies of God Pastor. He will help you break free of the satanic chains of bondage you now find yourself in. Freedom and happiness awaits you. You must choose to love Jesus. and you must choose to reject Satan. You need to ask for forgivenss of the sins in which you now live... Jesus came to give you LIFE. You may not be able to fix this by yourself. Others can help you if you really want help. I have dealt with others like you before. Renouce Satan and his place in your heart and life first... and then invite Jesus into your heart.
