Stay busy. Hang out with your friends. Flirt with other girls. You get the idea....

First, I would cut off contact with her for awhile just to give you both time and space to start moving on without keeping the feelings there. Second, like others have said, definitely try to keep yourself occupied but not REALLY busy, take up a new hobby/sport/etc. and hang out with your friends more often but also make sure and leave your body enough time for resting too. I'd have to disagree with others that say to get back out in the game and start dating again because, from a girl's perspective, it's really disrespectful to your ex to break up with her and immediately start dating again and it's really hurtful (just speaking from personal experience when my ex waited 5 days to date another girl after 4 years together). Anyways, if you're still upset about it, I'd focus on hanging out with friends, girls or guys, and then when you feel better and start moving on (which will happen with time), then start going on some dates.

All you can do is let time mend the broken heart, for now try taking up a new hobby and just hang out with mates.

It takes time to heal a broken heart!! Some people heal quicker than others so just give yourself time to heal!! Hang out with a buddy or something because being alone makes it seem like it takes longer.

well I don't think therez a best solution to get over someone. we are all different and it depends on how much u liked each other and how long u were together. one thing u could do is to start doing other fun stuff that doesn't remind u of her. It takes time but i think u will get over it in due time, just don't keep looking back past is past, good luck and hope u will be able to get thru this

It is going to take longer than 2 weeks. Distract yourself with a new hobby or a project you have been wanting to do. Try to keep your "thinking" time to a minimum. This is always where i found the most pain. Best wishes.
