can someone give me tips how to teach my german shepherd puppy new tricks?

i have teached him the three main things and could u tell me how and what new tricks i can teach him and give me every detail u can plz?

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

The Dummies book is good. So is 101 dog tricks. thats what I'm using for my aussie pup. I love the descriptions and pictures. Its available at major books stores (I spent like 15 bucks on it). The newest one Im teaching my pup is Paw (for his left paw) and Shake (for his right). What I've found works is you put the treat to his paw and then to your hand and he follows it (bringing his paw up with the treat).
