Do you mean death as a transitional phase between one dimension to another ?
As such a being ceases to exist in one dimension and transcends to the next dimension.
That being said usually there is no "going back" to the former, leaving the now transitioned soul in the state that they chose in the previous state of existence.
If from the previous state you decided to reject THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as your personal savior, it is said to pronounce you in a state of eternal separation, from which there is no escape.
Believe in THE LORD JESUS
JESUS bless all,
( I have no proof to offer. I stand on GOD's WORD that it is so. >>> called FAITH )
I believe because GOD SAID IT, THAT SETTLES IT FOR ME.

Of course there is life after death. The concrete proof is that life after death is so absolutely fantastic, that not a single person in all of history, has ever wanted to come back. Not even for a minute. What more proof do you need?

"Ghosts," and "after-death" experiences (if someone was really dead, there'd be no "coming back") are in our minds, and are proof of nothing except how gullible some people are. Energy cannot be destroyed? After you die, the energy is used during decomposition, and the body becomes food for others who use that energy until they die, at which time their bodies decompose, etc., etc., etc.
If you need to believe that you will have a better existence after you die, you're not making enough of an effort in the only existence you will ever have - life!

Yes, grasshopper, there are two kinds of life after death. First is resurrection from the dead. Jesus was the third person to experience it. First was me, Lazarus, then the little girl Jesus raised from the dead. (or maybe she was first and I was second...I don't remember. Hey I was dead, okay?)
Jesus was the third documented resurrection in the Bible. When He was crucified, according to one gospel, several other people were raised from the dead, too, and were seen in the town.
The other life after death, is when you are born again through faith in Jesus Christ. We are born spiritually dead in original sin, but when we find Jesus we are born again into a new life of faith in Him, which makes us spiritually alive for the first time in our lives.
Concrete proof is in your faith in the Words of Jesus Christ. If you don't believe in Him, you'll be separated from God for eternity in a place you really don't want to go. (John 3:16-19)
Wish I could go into more detail, but you can read it for yourself in any one of the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke or John, and the book of Acts, in the Holy Bible. Find out why you need Jesus here: www.billygraham.org It's vital that you make the right choice. God bless you, rosebud.

If you believe in the spirit then, it would follow logically that it was their before you obtained a physical being and will continue after the physical turns back to dust.
Some believe the soul continues, and is place into another physical body and continues on it journey of evolution to the utopia we all wish for.
I will assure you, if you believe this is it you have doomed yourself to not only a disappointed life, but a fearful death.
I choose to believe its all a continuum.

First their is the butterfly that was a caterpillar in another "life". Second no one seems able to find the body of Jesus Christ. Third, there are written reports that He rose from the dead. These men signed their names to the document and called them a Testament. They state" What we have seen with our eyes, heard with our ears, and have touched with our hands, we hereby give witness." Other than that, I haven't read of anyone seeing an Neanderthal or a caveman, other than that guy from Giego. What do you think Holmes?

The only concrete proof of life after death is this: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Those who will not believe with out proof would not do so with proof. However in the end every knee will bend and every mouth will confess Jesus was the Christ who rose from the dead.
