Because He felt it was more important that mankind learn about His Word rather than the stars. Religion comes first. Astronomy, Calculus and English would come later. Peace and God bless.

Well, there are two possible answers. The first is that god doesn't exist and therefore the bible was written by men who didn't know about other planets. The second is that god exists but decided it would be too complicated to explain all of this to a society which believed the heavens revolved around the earth. Which answer satisfies you will be based on your belief system.

If the bible is the word of God, it was dictated to a person. That person wouldn't understand the concept of 'another planet' since the time when the texts of the bible were created mankind still assumed that the world was flat and that the Earth was the center of the universe.
But, that's just a theory.

God does not talk about other planets because Earth is the only planet that has Human Life.
The Bible is written to humans and not to planets.

1) God didn't write the Bible. Even the Bible does not claim to be the Word of God.

2) What subject or literary genre represented in the Bible actually touches on the subject of other planets? You might as well ask why your Dell User's Manual doesn't mention other planets.

God didn't talk about Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonalds, Disney Land, Jet Planes, Cars, Computers, and a lot of other things.. The book is big now, how big did you want the Bible to be.. Most people haven't read the complete Bible.

In the Book of Job "God" supposedly brags about making the Heavens. He mentions Arcturus and his sons, (planets?) And the Plieades, referring to thier "sweet influences". Astrology has long said good vibes come from the Plieades. And it seems when I learn things, I find a reference to them in the Bible. Like one guy claims there is a 12th planet. That comes through our solar system evey 3000 years. And after I read that, I read those verses in Job, and it says, "Can you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season?" The 12th planet?

It was Jesus I believe who said something to the effect of my fathers house has many rooms.
If you think about that on a universal scale. And God being the Universal creator. I could interpret that as meaning many places where God dwells or ---- planets with life. Would it be too hard to believe God to could be a Galactic traveler

First of all, God did not write the Bible. Second, there was little scientific understanding of the universe when the Bible was written, the people were concerned with life here on earth. Third, why can't people accept that God created all things, and that maybe he used science to do it, and that maybe it's pretty arrogant to think he created the whole universe just for us.
