Disneyland is in Anaheim, CA. Which is in Orange County. It is not in Los Angeles at all. Magic Mountain is in Valenica, CA which is in Los Angeles County, in the San Fernando Valley. Both are in Southern CA.

OK so much confusion. I will set thing right. Disneyland is not in the County nor the City of Los Angeles. Disneyland is in Anaheim, CA, which is a separate city from Los Angeles, in Northern Orange County, which is the County under Los Angeles. It takes 40 min from downtown la to Disneyland if there is no traffic on 5 freeway. About Six Flags Magic Mountain. It is in Los Angeles County but not in the City of Los Angeles. It is located in Valencia. I'm not sure is it a city or an unincorporated part of L.A. County. It like a hour away from downtown l.a. by taking the 5 freeway as well. Now the only theme park that is semi in the City of LA is Universal Studios. I said semi because its not in the City of LA but in the County of LA. It's one of those unincorporated cities again, that is surrounded by the City of LA.

No, Disneyland is not in Los Angeles County, nor is it in the City of Los Angeles.
However, some people use the term "Greater Los Angeles" loosely to mean the entire megalopolis area stretching from Malibu in the northwest down to Dana Point in the southwest (which includes two counties: L.A. and Orange County) and numerous cities. This is due, in part, to the fact that L.A. is a very spread-out city, encompassing many smaller communities (such as Hollywood, Wilmington and the Valley towns), and also due to the fact that the entire L.A./Orange area has grown together, often without clear boundaries, to form one giant megalopolis. In this sense, only, Disneyland could be said to be in "greater Los Angeles".
But it is actually about 40 miles southeast from downtown L.A. in the city of Anaheim.

No, Disneyland is in Orange County, not Los Angeles County. Magic Mountain Six Flags may be on the northern edge of L.A. County, but could also be in Ventura or another one. Neither of those amusement parks are anywhere near the City of Los Angeles.

Six Flags is in Valencia, which is in LA county but NOT the city of LA.

Anaheim is its own city and isn't in Los Angeles. Six Flags Magic Mountain, however, is in fact in Los Angeles. The place is actually called Magic Mountain, Los Angeles.
