Judges are notorious for screwing up decisions as it is, but they got pre fight listings saying Oscar was fighting out of the blue corner when he was actually fighting out of the red. Whether it made a difference is moot, the fight is over and nobody protested. How Jerry Roth scored round 12 for Floyd is anybody's guess, Roth obviously wasn't watching the same fight the blogbaba was watching, and that one point was the difference between a split decision win for Floyd and a draw. I don't think the judges were bought, I think it was on the up and up, it just wasn't that exciting of a fight. Oscar tried to mix it up and Floyd didn't oblige, the result was the decision victory for Mayweather the blogbaba has been predicting for the last several months. I agree with DeLa Hoya and Hagler, a champion shoud have to be beaten to lose his title, and I don't like survival and punch stats being the reason judges can dethrone a reigning champ. There is something unmanly and weak about running behind a jab, flurrying to steal rounds and letting some one else decide a fight. Real champions fight they done run, but then again the blogbaba wasn't one of the ring side judges so the decision stands.

I think that someone might have had there hand in the decision because from what I have heard that is exactly what happen that one of the judges gave some points to Mayweather instead of De La Hoya.

You know why boxing is going down......watch Mayweather "hit" and "run" tactic....I'm sorry but when you box you have to actually "box". I like Floyd very much but this match against DLH was sooooo not what I expect...so that means if i box, all I have to do to win the match is hit one or even two times and run away, and rather the punches are feather shots as long as it hits the face or body, I win the fight??....man I'm in the wrong profession...where can I sign up?

yes because all the fights that mayweather threw were hitting Oscar , while threw punches on Mayweathers arm that didn't really cause a lot of damage to him.

oscar won, you have to beat the champ.
Mayweather did get in some clean effective punches, but the aggressor and the one who threw more punches was dela hoya.
first 4 rounds.........dela hoya, and did you see mayweather's eye?
