Well, there are 525,600 minutes in a year and about 43,000 highway deaths a year. So, that's about one every 12.22 minutes.

.96 to .84 24/7. A better question is why doesn't anyone care? In the 40 mph crash tests, some cars could stop 2 or 3 times before they hit the wall, while others are crashing into it; they could also drive around it. A few cars can stop in about 100 feet, others 250 feet...........dah; no brainer, but they are running the show.
