The average air speed is:
(Distance in miles) * (60 minutes per hour) / (Time in minutes)
= 6 * 60 / 20 = 18 mph

The average ground speed is:
(Air speed in mph) + (wind velocity in mph)

Note: wind velocity is a positive value if the wind is at your back, aiding you. It is negative if the wind is in your face, slowing you down. It is zero if the wind is from the side, providing no force against the line of travel.

I calculated 18 mile-per-hour. Was the wind blowing against you or in the same direction?
