Thanks to everyone who helped me last time. I wasn't given a letter grade, since(= _=apparently) it was only a draft. Now the final draft of my paper is due and I need some more help por favor!
I need to know how to say "there is one thing we have in common" in spanish.
The Alvista translator gave me "hay una cosa que tenemos en campo común" '_' but that doesn't look right-- I need a native speaker's opinion.

"There is one thing we have in common" --Hay una cosa que tenemos en común.
Try not using online translators...They rarely give you a correct answer. By the way, campo means 'field' : ) so that would make no sense.

there is one thing we have in common = Hay una cosa que tenemos en común
Or you can say Hay algo que tenemos en común = there's something we have in common

tenemos una cosa en comun:accent falls on the "u" in comun, sounds better and not too typo! ;)
