My mom just says, "you don't need that" and so I have nothing to straighten my hair. And I would erally like to have it straight sometimes. If there is a way that you know of, could you tell me how to straighten my hair without a hair straightener if there is a way? thank you so much

you could buy straightening gel and put that in your hair after the shower. If she will let you have a blow dryer, then you can blow dry it straight. If not you can use an iron that you would use for your clothes. My friend didn't have money for a real straightner so we just used the iron.

I have super curly hair that I straighten like crazy so I'm an expert in this area. You can try using a hair dryer and round brush. Just blow dry your hair using a brush. It takes a little while to get the technique down but once you do it will be great. A flat iron really is the best way. There are chemical ways to do it. I've had mine chemically relaxed. But if your mom won't buy you an iron then she probably won't pay for you to have it chemically done. Ask for a flat iron for you birthday or christmas. Or buy one yourself. There are some very inexpensive ones. JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING A HEAT PROTECTING PRODUCT ON YOUR HAIR OR YOU WILL COMPLETELY DAMAGE IT. good luck!!!

A hair iron is the fastest and most convenient way to do it, but if you don't mine taking a while you could put relaxers in your hair after or during a shower. Blow drying is the only other way I can think of that is not costly. If your mom won't go for a hair iron I doubt she'll go for those permanent straightener things that costs hundreds of dollars. I seriously think you should start investing in a hair iron though. Hope it works out. Bye! (:

if your hair is less than shoulder length then you can just brush it a few hundred strokes before bed and then wear a ski mask or long beanie to bed. This will hold your hair straight just like curlers curl hair. It also helps if your hair is warm, such as through blow drying while brushing, or putting the beanie in the dryer before putting it on. Even if your hair is really long, it will still help and make your hair into loose waves at least.

There are alot of products out there like Sleek Look by Matrix or the Chi straighting sysytem(they have shampoo and cond. and styling products), that used all together will soft the curl. If your hair just has a little curl. And you can alwayd blowdry with a brush that will smooth it out more. There are cheaper products but I would use salon products not store bought because in the end they are worth the money.

I sometimes try to lay on my back with my head on the back of a pillow so it will put pressure to my hair to keep it straight because it has no where to stand up.
