So there's this guy I like and he had a crush on my friend before I came to the school were I go now. At the time he told a girlfriend of hers that he liked her and when my friend found out she never said anything to him. He's really girl shy. In fact, he never talked to her before he confessed to liking her.
So three years later......
Do you think he may still like her even though she never responded to him? He was 13 maybe 14 at the time and now he is 17. And still, no girlfriend

No way. At 13 there is nothing permanent that is established so if he is 17 and still is not going out, he is part of the majority of high schoolers who, yes it is true, never ever go out. Most guys don't go out. It means nothing that this guy is not going out, other than he isn't a horn-dog. Maybe he is just a nice guy. Try and be friends with him. Nothing wrong in that.
