I used to work in the veterinary field and I would always be bringing my 'work' home. Several never went back. I now have 4 cats. I also have two dogs but I got these since leaving that field. Anyway...one of my kitties is orange. He has a tail. I just wanted share his name...it's "Orange". He's 6 now. He has a brother, Maddie and two sisters, Gremmie and Smudge. They're all great! Enjoy your little guy.

Koko is the name of the gorilla. She also had a kitten named lipstick..lol. My favorite names: Max, Sasha, and Nicholas. You could call it Manx - a play on the 'manx tail' it has. My good friend had a grey bobtail who wound up being called BB - short for bunny butt. Not the most dignified, but we always remembered it!

My dad has the same kind of cat and he named him Bob. A name will come to you though. We had no idea what to name our first kitten, an all black bombay. We were watching her play and she was batting a ball around the room like a soccer player. I suggested Mia, like Mia Hamm, because of the way she handled the little soccer ball. Needless to say, it stuck. She's a prissy, all black kitty named Mia, with LOTS of attitude. We also have a Guinness, though I'm not sure why she was named after a beer. I would advise against Miller Lite and the likes though :-D

There's a story about a gorilla who was taught sign language, can't remember her name right now. But the caregivers bought her a pet kitten that she LOVED and the gorilla actually named it herself. It was an orange kitten without a tail and she called it "all ball" because it looked like a ball since it didn't have a tail. That would be really cute.

Well, what type of personality does he have? I'm fond of non-traditional names for my cats. Currently I share my life with Daisy (15), Murphy (3) and Maya (6 mos). Try Google or AskJeeves. There are places on the Internet that have names for cats. I'm a big fan of Jeeves and when I put in my search, they came up with several good websites. Bobbin might be a good name. Again, I'm for non-traditional names and would probably wind up calling him Bob. LOL

LOL.. Call: Here kitty, kitty!
Seriously, give it some time and a name will probably become obvious. Don't rush into assigning a name. Let one just sort of happen. It'll mean a lot more, that way.

I think you should call him Bobster-like mobster, he'll grow-up to be one bad [as in cool] kitty cat! My cat's name is Smokey,he's black/white/with silver tipped ends on some black areas on his fur,I also have trained him too do some amusing tricks like to put his paws upon the door to go outside, instead of calling him by his name to come to me,he's trained to come to the sound of my snapping fingers, cats can be trained to do cool trick to entertain!!
