I lost my father last year, and since I have found that my brother and sister(on my fathers side) are greedy assholes who don't care for me, I havent spoke to them since the funeral. My mother and family on her side moved from Ohio to Georgia so I have no relatives near. All my real friends have been either shot or put in jail. I lost my car, causing me to lose my job. I have a baby on the way that I have no I idea how I can support now. I can't find a job that is on the bus line and I'm about to be on the street with no where to go. My girlfriend is the only one I can talk to and she doesn't even seem to take me serious. The fact that she doesn't understand that I'm serious pushes me closer to the edge. I've felt this way off and on all my life and this is rock bottom for me. I just feel overwhelmed right now. The only thing keeping me alive is knowing that my mother would lose her mind and my baby would grow up knowing that his father killed himself. How can i stop this?

I recently was having some serious problems with my life, and got incredibly depressed. I started dealing with my problems by eating nothing (what ever I ate I threw up), sulking in my room, talking to my less than supportive boyfriend for help, and crying ALL the time. Needless to say, that made nothing any better. I told my best friend what was up, and from there things got better. Ask someone who you care for, for help. What ever it is you do, the last thing you want to do is take your life. I wanted to so bad, but now that I can look back on it, I am so happy I never did, and you will be too, I guarantee it! I truly wish the best for you! Good luck

Love yourself first, then you will feel that you deserve better life than this, and you will stop thinking of the past but on the future. Having a baby on the way extends that hope that things will be better. Once you decide that your life will become better, and that you cant get any lower than this, take a decision to do something about. Firstly you have to believe in yourself and love yourself.
I wrote an article here, hope you find it useful

You should go to your doctor and make him take you seriously. Talking to relatives can be awkward, as they can be too close to your problems. If you want your girlfriend to understand, then make it clear to her exactly how you feel. Sit her down and explain, rather than just mentioning something while she is busy with something else. You need to talk to a therapist and maybe your doctor can find someone for you. Don't wait a week to see if things will improve, act now. The hot lines will see you through until you can talk to a professional but don't keep any of it bottled up.
Email me if you need to talk. Please get help - things can get better.

See the sections on suicidal thoughts and depression at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on pages 5 & 2. Could you use credit/borrow to get a cheap scooter/motorbike for a while?

Get off the computer, call someone. Surround yourself with people that care about you...that will make you realize that ending your life is not worth it. I was there once...I know its hard to want to be around people, but its the best remedy...seeing and knowing that people care to have you in their life.
