i have really brittle nails and they break so easily, plus my cuts and bruises take FOREVER to heal and once they do, they leave such horrible scars!!! is my problem lack of vitamin e??? if so, what foods should i eat that contain vitamin e???

You need more vitamin E and more calcium - go to a health food store and they will give you some ideas of natural supplements.

Brittle nails and cuts and bruises that take "forever" to heal could indicate diabetes. I know as my father has those symptoms. I would suggesting seeing your doc for blood work to rule out anything. If you're interested in vitamin E supplements, you could probably just go to the store and buy gel caps. The pharmacist should be able to tell you how many milligrams you should take per day.

I'd consider trying to balance your diet out more. Do some research on general nutrition. If you're lacking vitamin e and calcium in your diet it's probable you're lacking other nutrients as well. You might want to consider a suppliment too.

I would have your Iron level checked. This happened to me and I found out I was anemic. it is just a simple blood test.
