No, that's only 1/2 degree F. off the average. It's within the normal range. If you walked any distance, climbed a flight of stairs, etc, you could boost your temp. by that much.

My usual temp. is about 1/2 to 1 degree below the average, so I know it can vary that much.

It's a low-grade fever. The so-called "normal" temperature for humans is 98.6 degrees.

Unless your body is naturally about that temperature (and some are!), then it is a fever, but only a slight one. You are probably not contagious or anything.

I believe 98.7 is your average temperature you may be just a little warm.
