Instead they lust over what they could have and torment themselves. Then later go out with losers who treat them badly. If you don't speak up, how will GOOD men ever know you exist? Are they that intimidating to you?

I wondered this too.
I think that many women lack self-esteem, so they are afraid of rejection even more than we are. But that cannot be all of it.
I think that women want to be approached by a man, because it shows that he has some courage. Women like to test the men who ask them out to see if he really is the guy for her, and this is one of the "tests". Doe he have the guts to make a move? No girl wants a coward for a boyfriend.

They need to be pursued... A lot of people like to pretend that the world is entirely P.C. and that both sexes pursue each other, but biologically this just doesn't work. It's been like this for years, and you know deep inside your male concsious certain things that are built into you. You want to pursue women and they want to be pursued. Just don't smother them... Women hate that, they think it's creepy and that's why nice guys finish last...
