Post ''Have you seen me?" flyers in local pet shops, groomers, vet clinics, etc. Also around your neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. Check with local shelters & rescues to see if someone brought your cat in, as a ''stray''.

Post an ad on Craigslist.org and Petfinder.com for your area, stating ''Lost Cat'', to see if anyone has seen, or may have your cat, thinking that it was a stray.

Try walking the neighborhood and asking people if they have seen your cat. If you have a flyer with your phone number, they can call if they see it. Cats can travel a long way, sometimes a mile or more.

well you can put up fliers and look at local shelters
does the kitty have tags?? if so it will be a lot easier
also if you do find him then you should install a microchip that tracks the kitty so if he rusn away again then it will be a LOT easier to find him
ask your vet about them they will tell you all that you need to know

Have you had neighbors check their garages (if they have them)? My mom always worried about our cat getting too nosy and getting trapped in one. Once she was gone overnight and the next day she asked our neighbor to check...and sure enough she spent the night in there.

Is he neutered? If not, he might have a "girlfriend."
