It is true Jesus did exist but then died but his ministry still live on for those who believe in him even though he is dead. If you want to believe in that is your choice since it helps many psychologically to do so. But remember he is dead and is never coming back. The gospels in the bible are nothing more than heresy since Jesus himself didn't write any books nor did his parents which makes one wonder about him. And about 30 years of his life aren't documented which leads many to speculate that he did in fact get married and have kids. I hope this helped you and good luck to you in your life moving forward!

There are a number of sources for Jesus' existence; the Christian scriptures, the letters of Apostle Paul and the writings of Flavius Josephus.

1. The Four Canonical Gospels
They are the principal sources for the Christ's life. They were all written by the year 110 CE. They give by and large similar accounts of the Jesus' life and ministry

2. The Pauline Epistles (The New Testament)
Paul, an educated Jew, wrote letters to various Churches, which specifically speak of the person of Jesus, and predate the Gospels. Though he did not meet Jesus personally he met many of Jesus' disciples

3. Flavius Josephus
Josephus was an educated Roman Jew who wrote a history of the Jewish people. As part of that history he mentions Jesus (in one paragraph), the rise of Christianity and the crucifixion. He was not a Christian. He was only writing secular history. So, we cannot accuse him of fabricating a myth.

Of course he existed. There are Roman sources (Josephus) who speak of him, although they do not say much. For example:

"Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man; for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day; as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day.

The question is, what does Jesus mean to you? Was he the Son of God? A great preacher? A false prophet? That's something you have to figure out for yourself.

One can conclude, however, that the words and actions of this poor carpenter changed the world forever.

It is a weak case. The New Testament was largely written a few generations after the fact. A Jewish historian named Josephus mentioned him about 70 years after his death. And there are two other mentions that were a little later and may not have even been him.

All in all, he probably did. But no one who actually met him felt that he was important enough to actually write it down.

He was a guy - who tried tyo be a carpenter - that apparently didn't last long - Then he tried his hand at fishing but couldn't catch anything without asking daddy for help

Finnally he and his 12 buds crashed a few party's and then he got tacked to a tree by the Romans

His own brethern liked someone else better and so they called for his release

So there you have it an unemployed guy who was convicted of a crime and got strung up as his own people said "oh well "

We don't know. There are many, many people that believe it absolutely without question. There are others who believe he probably existed, but wasn't "God", and there are those that question whether or not he existed at all. There are no surviving documents (other than the Bible) indicating that he lived, but then again, there's no surviving documents indicating a LOT of people who did live at that time lived.

Yes, I believe he did exist. I'm an Atheist and feel what he said and did got twisted in the hands of others. Good thing he rose from that grave on the third day otherwise he'd be rolling over in it at what's been done in his name.

History proves that Jesus Christ existed. He was a real person who lived and influenced the world that he lived in.
