You are going to have to pray a lot. There is no easy way to get through this. This is a major trail of faith. Just keep praying. I'll pray for you also.

Just know that we all make mistakes in life and that man made a very tragic mistake by getting behind the wheel drunk. We all sin against God whether we hurt another person or not and we need forgiveness from him for what we have done. We have to forgive others no matter how badly they hurt us.

It makes our lives so much better to let go of any ill will towards another. You will be at peace when you forgive that man. Try writing it down and then try saying it out loud until you actually mean it.

I have to say that I cannot in any way truly understand what you are feeling - and unless someone has experienced this same thing we cannot know the extent of your pain. When you hang on to that pain and hurt and unforgiveness though, you are only hurting yourself over and over again. Just because you can say "Jesus, I forgive him because you have forgiven me all of my sins" does not mean that the pain goes away, but it will begin a healing, one that it sounds like you truly desire. I will pray that you find that forgiveness in your heart that will then allow you to heal - because that does not mean you don't remember and don't still love them every minute of every day - it just means that you trust that they are with the Lord now and feeling no pain and experiencing love and joy every single day - and you will see them again.

This is a situation where you can't do it, but Jesus can and you just don't worry about yourself being perfect. Look to Jesus, your savior; He does it in your place. Most of Christianity is objective, not subjective. Just like everything else in the Christian faith, It's in the books that you forgave the person if you believe on Christ. I don't know how anyone could say you should be able to forgive since they are not in your shoes. I'm not saying you should have festering hatred, but quit trying and trust Jesus.

I am so sorry for your loss. I really don't know what to say. I'm not a Christian, and do not view forgiving that person as a requirement. I would really never be able to forgive them.

i am very sorry for your tragic loss.we cannot forgive on our own only with prayer.GOD knows your pain and sorrow and he wants you to find comfort in his love and promises.sometimes it takes a very long time to heal.dont give up you may feel like you would be betraying the memory of those you loved by forgiving that is not true.your family wants you to forgive so you can heal and remember they love you and all the good times.nothing is too hard for GOD take all your troubles to GOD in prayer he will enable you to forgive to let go and to live again.good luck.

Ohh im sorry to hear that,i can imagine what you have been going through all this this.
Its just an example of drinking with the devil!
i think you must try to learn to get on with your life, and know that in the end God is the judge of all.As God is the all seeing ,all hearing and believe the day of judgement will come.
just try to get on with life and forgiving will ease your heart
peace be with you!

I could not even imagine what they would be like. I know we are supposed to forgive and God is with us always but I really couldn't tell you to forgive this person. All I can tell you is to pray to God in Jesus name and ask Him to help you do His will.

I believe that it is best to let God punish him when the time has come. I think you'll be satisied with God's decision.
