this god has a army of thugs who roams the streets of muslim countries to check if his followers pray 5 times a day and if they close their shops on friday afternoons for prayer. if the followers dont meet these standards the god army lashes them and burns their shops.
i am talking about the muslim god and what good is this dictator of a god?

what good is any god?
haven't seen a thing any have done in my lifetime
what good is a god who created everyone then punishes them for eternity for not believing in him
what good is a god who tells us rebellious teens should be stoned to death
what good is a god who tells us that working on sunday requires a stoning to death
what good is a god who gives free will and punishes us for using it
what good is a god at all?

Hi Terry G.; where do you find your so called knowledge.
Dont you know that (if you are Christian), in muslims's teaching Jesus's God is the muslim's God as well?
So ask Jesus, if you believe in Jesus.
Muslims only believe that there is only ONE GOD, that is the GOD of Adam-Eve, God of Abraham, God of Jesus., God of you too. Although you dont want to admit, but for the muslims there is no other God than God the Creator, The Allmighty , The Most Mercyfull , The ONE WHO Give Freedom to choose.
If you dont believe it fine, nothing the muslim's can do.
Because That ONE GOD Give freedom to choose, to be nasty or to be nice, to do goods or to do bads ; That ONE GOD give you brain to think, to choose doing a dumb2, or being productive in research for honourable things;etc etc.
That is us, the human being ,that choose what we want to do, to think, too believe.
That is What basicly Islam's teaching is. There is punishments and rewards, which are reminders , so we, human being, can choose the right path to reach happiness.
So you choose to ask the above question,
I wonder how you dare to choose something without searching or checking any further but jumped to conclusion that it is true; I choose not to;
I wonder too if you manage to reach say 60 years of age, what are you becoming , a looser, or a winner.
Even meanwhile, I wonder how you live, what have you achieved , anything that you can proud of? Any success that your surroundings admiring you ?

What good is it to have any god? From what I've seen, all that most of them want is praise, sacrifices, etc.
