I agree its part of your charm!! Its probably extremely cute to the one that likes you!
I'm very childish 2, and as you said not all the time. When i'm walking at the beach with my bf, i'll walk behind him and jump in his footprints that he's left.
I throw things at him and poke faces at him. But he doesn't mind - if he did he'd leave. But i dont sulk like a child or act like a child in that aspect.
I think its good you aren't one of those people who try to act 30 when you're only 20 (i'm 20 also) Some of us just have fun our whole lives, some are sticks in the mud.

If I were a guy, I'd find it a bit annoying if were overbearing. If you're in your early 20's you're not much more than a child. I wasn't at your age. The 20's are a hard time. It's that period between being a child and being an adult. It's awkward. Does your boyfriend act like it annoys him? Ask him. But, if he answers you honestly are you prepared to make changes or are you going to dump him? Part of being an adult is learning how to change and take constructive criticism.

I actually was wondering the same thing, being a girl. Sometimes I act childish, esp. when I am sick or really excited/happy over something really small and stupid. If I was a boy, though, I would think it was cute if my gf acted like a kid sometimes. It can be refreshing to have a happy person in your life. You know what I mean.

"Childish" and "childlike" are very different things. To maintain your sense of "childlike" wonder and joy at the world and the exquisite things of nature, humor, and the ability to laugh easily are traits to be admired. Childishness is another story....temper tantrums, and other childish behaviors of that sort are definitely left behind during the course of normal human development. Or they ought to be. Common sense will dictate one from the other at your age. Keep on being happy. There will be plenty of sad times when a good attitude may be all you have to get you through.

I'm just going by what my sons (4 sons) say. If what you say is true, and you don't act that way all the time, then you're okay. Baby talk just drive my sons insane. That and when girls get together and they get the giggles over something stupid or when they start screaming/screeching. Happiness is contagious, and they appreciate that. They also appreciate amazement. In fact, they sort of try to amaze you and try to do something to make you happy. That's all a part of dating.

I act like a child sometimes, and my boyfriend found it annoying until I explained to him that I was like this and wasn't going to change. I get like that when I'm in a good mood or sleepy If he truely loves you he'll except it. My boyfriend did and we are still together through all my silliness and childish ways.
*In my twenties also in a relationship

Honestly, at 23, I'm pretty childish myself at times. I'd love a girl that acts like a kid now and then. If I wanted to be mature and serious all the time I wouldn't leave work at 5 every night.

Like most things, some guys do mind and others don't. All I can tell you is that for MOST guys out there, even if this is an issue, it's a very minor one.
It's a part of your charm and who you are. Doesn't necessarily mean you are not mature, you just like to express your happiness in a certain way. I wouldn't worry about it and you should be yourself. 20's is still very young and there's nothing wrong with a little innocence and youthful enthusiam in your outlook in life.

Dont worry what other guys think hun. Think of it this way, do you like to act serious all the time? Its one of your flaws that you have and if your bf is still with you he must not mind it at all and its probably one of the things he loves about you. Nothing is wrong with wanting to feel like a princes when youre sick haha make him care for you girl! =) no one likes a serious girl all of the time

Oh Hell Yeah!!!! I hate it when girls try to "act" or fake anything. What's your point in doing this? Are you trying to act like a child to get guys off? If you're dating guys who like children, there's something wrong with both of you.
It probably annoys your boyfriend, which is why I'm guessing you asked the question, right? If he's annoyed, that should tell you volumes. If you're adult enough to handle it, handle it. It's your call. If he doesn't like it, you need to be who you are and do what makes you happy.
