Getting in touch with a Godhead is one, and righteousness and arrogance would be another - these are not effects of getting in touch with a Godhead but may be a result of three things:

1. With a firm belief in something that others cannot understand, the other is made to feel insecure for not experiencing the same.

2. the person's experiences of founded truths may have consumed him - the same way children brag about a new trick they've learned.

3. as a defiance to that which has been deemed as an antagonist, not necessarily to the self, but to that which is being esteemed or valued.

Based on what you said, you must be a Christian. You sure managed to pack a lot of self-righteous condemnation and arrogant assumptions about an entire group of people into one short sentence.

Righteousness is important because it is what we all use for our protection and moral guide that helps the world run more smoothly. But... it can be a very destructive power if righteousness is misused. If righteousness is not tempered with true humbleness it is the opposite of righteousness and can cause "arrogance." This is what is meant by "self-righteousness" and that is a sin. Without true humbleness, Christlikeness and/or divinity is impossible.

Me? Arrogant? And righteous. Yes. He makes me righteous, but not because of what I do, but because he declares me righteous in his eyes. He does that because I trust him.

I don't know who said what to you, but God says that he sees those who go their own way, not choosing his way, as being arrogant. I'd rather side with him if you don't mind, thank you very much!

While I'm sure that I won't be getting through to you, I have to say that I don't know any arrogant and righteous Christians. It is your enslavement to sin that makes you see arrogance where it does not exist. Can we say projection? Can we say conviction?

I believe the means on communication you`re looking for is "PRAYER" . Here`s some verses just for you !! Galatians 6 : 3 - 8 .. For if a man think himself to be something , when he is nothing , he deceiveth himself..But let every man prove his own work , and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone , and not in another .. For every man shall bear his own burden .. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things .. Be not deceived ; God is not mocked : for whatsoever a man soweth , that shall he also reap .. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption ; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting .. Have a Blessed Day.

you are correct to say "arrogant". Some have made this observation of saintly folk as well, who also were very irritating. However, so long as it is not deemed to be SELF-righteous, I'm okay with that.
