I just got my 4th beagle... its a girl!... we are debating between the names Yoshi, Zelda, and my favorite Maylene... What do yall think?

Personally I like Maylene. Does the name seem to suit her? All my dogs had names that suited them for one reason or another. My girl names were: BooBoo (sounded cute), Lassie (looked like Lassie), Lucy (Lassie's sister, thought it sounded good together), Nancy (had white boots on all 4 feet - Nancy Sinatra's song influenced this one), Birdie (had a white area on back of neck that looked like a bird in flight). And the girls in residence now: Black Magic Woman (black lab that sat in Santana's lap when she was 8 weeks old and he sang the song), and her babies: Voodoo (looks just like mama-solid black), Trixie & Mitzie (sounded good together), and Buttercup (the most yellow of the bunch). And that's just the girls!

Its your choice, whatever flatters you. Yoshi is cute. Maylene is cute too. The others might be hard for the dog to learn.

well, its your dog, and you should be the one to choose. if you like Maylene the best, then go for it. or if your really that indecisivemaybe get 3 pieces of paper and each piece has a name, and whichever 1 she touches/sniffs first can be the name

I like Zelda...not really Beale material though...it makes me think of Labs...don't ask! Maylene is nice you might shorten it to May because shorter names are easier for dogs....
