When I was a person of faith, I believed that God took a personal interest in the lives of all human beings, not just Christians. I was taught that God was a loving god, but I never could reconcile that with the cruelty and suffering I saw in the world. Expressions like "We cannot see God's whole purpose" and "There is a greater purpose" seemed less and less satisfactory, until finally I realized they were mere excuses to cover up the truth.

Ironically, I know that G-d is real and knows everything I'm going through in part, because of the trials and hardship I've been through. G-d was able to tell me/warn me of cirtain things in the future... don't ask me how, it would take a bunch more words to explain these personal and very special things and i don't feel like writing that much. Anyway, I didn't want to think it was coming from G-d, I wanted to think it was just me... but for some of the things it was years later that the things all started happening and I would not even face it then. It scared me too much. But, when I finally faced it... that I was hearing from G-d, I stopped doubting and trusted fully in Him. I feel this sence of safety, calmness, security, love... etc. now... but if I did not go through any of these trials He warned me about and just had an ordinary life, i would either have not ever believed in G-d at all... or at best, I would have a cirtain level of faith in Him and have the option to be hurt or turn away from Him, depending on other people or circumstance. Well, I'm sure passed that now... that so called luxury of doubt is not open to me anymore, when it comes to G-d. I have not seen that I could be really blessed by doubting G-d. Now I know what it means in scripture when Messiah says: "Blessed are they which have believed and yet have not seen"... I truly do think those that believe without proof are more blessed, because to personally SEE the destruction or hurt G-d is offering to save you from, (which is the only way you can truly see it) is to have much protection and blessing pass you by.

Yes I do believe he knows everything I am going through and everything that every other person on this planet is going through wether they are Christian or not. Why he allows somethings to happen I do not know and will not know. But I do believe that God has a reason for everything. He told me that he would not give me anymore than I can handle. And so far he hasn't.

Yes He does.
And I wish I understood why God allowed Hitler to kill all those Jews.
If I was President Truman, I would have rounded up every SS officer and given them a taste of one of their own gas chambers.
If I was President Carter, this is what I would have said when those hostages were taken at the US Embassy.
"Give them back or I'll blow Terhan off the face of the map."
"You have 24 hours, and my B-52's are warming up on the runways right now!"
However I'd be fibbbing about the B-52's.
One missle from one Trident submarine would do the trick.
Aren't you glad I'm not in the White House?
However if your name is Hitler or Saddam or Stalin remember this:
God said, "Vengence is mine, I will repay!"
And I believe He will, when He is ready, not before.
Of course, Hitler and Stalin and Saddam are already facing the music from the Lord.

God definitely knows everything that I go through and God gives me the grace to go through it as well. God is good when things are great and God is even better when things are bad.

Because I am Christian, I believe God has a plan set out for me. Unfortuantly, I have free will. This in turn gives me the choice to listen or not. I wish I listened, but i end up screwing up .... everytime. Thats why I pray to allow God to have more control over my life.

God is a word meaning the "perfect goodness" or the abstract experience each individual longs for. It is possible to experience this if we understand that we are all embedded in a physical system that is interactive. Reality shifts as we change our mind, or want solutions etc. which give the appearance of a responsive "God." It is up to us to seek and find.

Yes, I say I believe it. But truthfully, I don't always act like it, nor do I always act like I trust Him to be the best management around.
Yup, sometimes I think I gotta do it all.
I am grateful He knows this and is a forgiving God with a gentle and compassionate sense of understanding.

well if he did, he would smite you(no im not christian and there is no god) but if there was 1, and he knew, according to the bible, he would kill you, because i dont believe anybody has followed the rules that he stated to follow and the punishment is death, examples, talking back to parents, talking to a priest about things other than religion, wearing clothes of more than 2 colors, and eating plants that were grown next to a plant of a different variety
if u disagree and are offended, email me so i can prove your just an ignorant christian sheep

Of course.
God is in control. Everything works for the good for those who trust in the Lord. What the devil means for destruction, God can turn for Good.
