A 17 year old in a 1964 Ford Galaxie is no different that the same person in a 2007 Ford,
He is under the age of 25, I assume non-married, little to no experience and unfortunately a male.
I would say that the rate only because it is a 1964 vehicle and only carrying minimum liability it would be $125.00 a month.

Different insurance companies charge different prices. That's why you call an agent or shop online at sites such as esurance.com.
Furthermore, insurance rates depend on so many factors, such as your driving record, claim history, credit history, where you live, etc..
Nobody here will be able to tell you what you'll have to pay. However, given that you are only 17 years old and a guy, you'll pay some of the highest rates.

I will tell you how to lower the cost.
Go on a parent's policy.
Use a high deductible.
If on your own policy, use low liability.
Use low mileage.
Try for discounts: student away at school, good student, driver training.
Call an independent agent with lots of companies; you obviously don't like talking to your agent, so maybe you need one you feel more comfortable talking to. Agents don't mean their jack up the price to get a high commission; can usually beat the direct-writer companies like GEICO.

Well, then I guess you'll never know then! Your agent is the only person who can tell you what that will cost.
If anyone here gives you a number I can guarantee that they pulled it out of their butt. And we all know what else comes out of our butts, don't we?! Right!
So, if you want an answer, call your insurance agent. If you don't want to call him or her, live on in ignorant bliss.

there is no way to tell you without calling an agent. Variables include where you live, driving record, how much insurance you are carrying, how many miles you are driving a year is the car in a garage at night etc. etc.

17 yr. drivers pay premium prices to begin with let alone putting them in a classic car with full coverage and a V8, I really couldn't say how much they will charge you but be prepared to open your wallet wide, I paid $420. a year back in 1968 driving a 66 dodge charger when I was 18.

Why not try Gyco.com. But my guess would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 100+ a month. If it's a two door, I'll take it.
