OMG! You just had a question that said you already had braces and when you used your dad's RAZR you got shock in the mouth! I thought you already got your braces! You have to be lying! I do not know what you are lying about having braces or getting braces but you are lying!

Go see an orthodonist; they can tell you when you should get them, and for how long (if at all!) Just because your friends have them doesn't mean you have to.
But if possible, start treatment soon if you need it. Might as well get it over with! And YES: it's the truth, your teeth with be VERY sore. Things like the initial tightening, maintenence tighteninng, and ESPECIALLY rubber bands will all cause you discomfort, if not pain. But in the end, you get a lovely smile, I suppose.

They hurt like hell, at first, and when you get them tighten. Sore for about 4 days. Can't eat like you want to. Results take awhile ( 1-3 years).
