say the Bible is corrupt? Seems to be a common theme like with the Jehovah Witnesses, the Mormons, Islam etc. So since the Bible is supposedly corrupt, which of the 3 extra books above are correct?

I think I'll stick with one book. I think my God is mighty and powerful enough to keep His Word from being polluted.

The Bible itself has been translated into many versions. All have been influenced by the politics of the particular individual or group involved. There is nothing pure about the Bible to begin with. It is an anthology (group of collected works) assembled and edited at the Council of Nicaea. Even there, politics were at work to decide on the appropriate volumes to include.

No religion says the Bible is corrupt. Only you believe that. What is corrupt is versions that follow a belief system not clearly in keeping with the teachings of Christ. The King James was created because he thought the Genesis Bible was too strict. Even than, it took 150 year and four revisions to get one that met with the approval of the Church of England and it could be Authorized. Since then it has be revised several more times. The last version was the basis for the statement made by the British Bishop of the Church of England last November that children born with defects should not be allowed to live. If you believe the KJV is the right one, than you must agree with him.

It should be noted that none of the complete Biblical texts survived last long after the Apostles were killed. This is why the Nicean Council met. They were told to gather all the remaining fragments of the scriptures and get the religion back in order. They did the best they could, but the entirety of Jesus' gospel was lost. We were left with pieces. This is why we have so many denominations today.

Consider also that the New Testament was written by what was consider a cult made up of mostly uneducated individuals, to support their new religion, rather than keeping to the Holy Torah, which had sustained God's People for hundreds of years.

They of route are not very solid books. Archaeological information and historic truth educate that Jesus existed. Christianity isn't in accordance with lies - even if Jesus grow to be God's Son is an argument for religious believers to opt for. Writers are not drawn to writing books on Islam because they are going to be killed in the experience that they do. look at Salman Rushdie - he lives less than 24 hour armed guard.

How do you know that one book is not corrupt? Keep in mind your book is written over a long history of time and the edition you are more than likely looking at was editted by someone who didn't like the bible the way it was so he changed it.

Well since human men wrote the Bible and man as you know is sinful how can you really be sure the Bible is accurate. There are many contradictions in scripture that would lead one who is a thinker to assume this book is no better. Perhaps it would be more fruitful to rely on yourself and let logic and reason dictate what you should on earth.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the bible is uniquely infallible and inspired of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not have (nor have they ever had) any book comparable with 'Book of Mormon' or 'Koran'. A Witness uses whatever translation of the bible he and his householders prefer; Witnesses do not believe that any bible translation is particularly inspired in a way in which others are not.

you get a star.
I have never found a contradiction in all my years of study. The contradiction comes when people try to use scripture to say what they want.(adding books or verses or taking away from scripture is not acceptable).
note:
some NIVs take away
