You would have to look for the laws in your state.

Does his fiance's parents approve?

I would suggest that they wait a few years to get married.

So when she turns 18 she can go get married. Have a three year engagement.

That way, if they end up growing up and away from each other before she is 18, they do not have to deal with any ugly divorce.

This would depend entirely upon what state you live in. Some states will require parental permission while others also require the family courts permission before the wedding can take place.

On our website listed below you will find a listing of the marriage requirements fr all 50 states.

The legalities of marriage changes from state to state.

Most likely, she will need to be 16 with parently permission to marry, 18 without.

And your son should be aware of laws regarding sex with a minor.

I don't know what they are in your state but tell him to be careful because she could turn the tables on him all of a sudden and then he's facing jail time!!! Girls can be tricky and evil. I didn't realize this until I had a son and I constantly warn him about girls lying about their age and things like that because I did.

why would he have a 15 year old fiance, shes still a kid, hes an adult? i dated someone older when i was that age, so whatever, but i definatley was not engaged. the legal aspect is its illegal for him to be with her in the first place, and they cant get married until she turns 18, and thats still so young, they probably wont even be together then anyway.

Her parents are most likely going to have to sign a waiver stating that it's okay with them if she gets married.

I'm not trying to be rude, but why is he marrying a child?

What is a 15 year old child doing engaged? That is simply scandalous.
