There is no way to really "know" that she is telling the truth. But you have to trust her, and if she is lying then it will eventually be shown. But if you have a good reason to doubt then be straightfoward, and tell her what you think. I mean if what you think she is lying about, she has lied about in the past, then chances are that she is doing it again, so don't be pushed, but don't be quick to push.

you know when you know... sorry if thats an unhelpful answer, but kind of like the first person who replied said (that was quite a story by the way), you need to love them, i guess, to trust them... if you both really love each other then trust is almost automatic.
But anyway i hope that helps anything at all - if you guys arent really close theres no way to know if you can trust her. Talk a lot.

You will never really know. I am having the same problem with my bf who lives 8 hours away from here. But if you love her truly and she says that she loves u. Then she should be trusted.

if she can't look you in the eyes then that means she is either lying or doesn't know how you will react to yhe truth. if u love her sit her down and find out the truth. tell her you won't get mad.

Listen to your instincts. If you feel she is lying, if you have that bad feeling, it is for sure she is. Trust your instinct. It never fails.

This sounds silly but........do you feel that she truly loves you??? Can you look in her eyes...and actually feel it....? You know in your own heart....and soul....if you can trust her or not.....always listen to your own instincts....and be honest....
