The water:rice ratio goes down the more rice you are cooking.

Here's what you should do, if you are NOT using a rice cooker (recommended.)

1 Cup Rice - 1 1/2 Cup Water
2 Cups Rice - 2 3/4 Cups Water
3 Cups Rice - 3 1/2 Cups Water

Use 20 ounces of water to every eight ounces of rice and place in pot with a about a tablespoon of Olive oil cover the pot with a lid. Next bring the rice to a full boil, when it reaches a full boil turn the temperature down to a very low simmer or almost off. In about twenty minutes or so you have nice fluffy rice.

Bring a large pot of water to the boil, add the rice and stir. Cover and return to the boil.
At that stage reduce the heat so the water is just bubbling and leave for exactly 15 minutes.
Drain and serve.

Use Uncle Ben's converted rice, or Riceland Gold. It is par-boiled so it won't stick together.
