I consider a white lie a lie told to spare someone's feelings. If my sister has already purchased a dress and is wearing it out and asks me what I think of it, I will always say it is nice, whether it is the truth or not.

I also would never tell someone I didn't wish to go spend the evening at his/her house. I would just tell a white lie and say that I have plans.

I consider it OK to tell a white lie.

I imagine the majority of all polite people tell white lies.

A white lie is a small untruth to spare someone's feelings. Like someone has on a new shirt they believe is really nice and you find hideous, you smile and say "It suits you!" or someone gets something done to their hair and you think at least it wasn't my hair, then you can say "Wow that is really something else!" Those are what I consider a white lie.

White lies are the lubricant that makes the international flow around. it could be intense-high quality if all our communications have been the suitable fact, however the sorrowful fact is that existence is short and there is no time for that. The saving grace is that maximum all of us knows this association fantastically lots, so white lies are exchanged in a consensual way. in case you anticipate me to lie to you approximately some trivial ingredient, and that i fulfill your needs and we are the two satisfied, then the place is the sin? fact isn't undemanding artwork and many times painful and lots extra uncommon and useful than maximum folk comprehend. If my neighbor asks me no count if her new hair form makes her look like a fool, i flow to tell her that it makes her look suitable, no count what the fact could be. yet whilst my spouse, with whom I easily have a undeniable and privileged dating, asks me an identical question, i flow to be trustworthy together with her, because's what she needs from me. she gets meaningless flattery from everyone.

Telling someone you like their outfit when you really don't.
Telling a guy he's...uh...well-endowed?

It's OK to boost people's egos.
