im wating for my finacial aid to come, but do they mail it or do i pick it up from the school. I wonder if they will call me?

Unless there are some sort of special circumstances (such as it being a foreign school) then the money will be sent directly to the school. It is usually done via EFT, and is sent on whats called a "roster" with usually a couple million dollars for other students as well. Then they will take out whatever your schooling costs are and if there is a balance leftover then the school will give you a check for the difference or send the refund back to your lender. You will want to check with your financial aid office for specific school policies.

Most schools get funds in nowadays by electronic funds transfer. They will check that you are still eligible for the funds and then have them posted as a payment to your student account. That pays your tuition and fees. If you still owe more, they will bill you, and if it creates a credit balance, the school will refund the difference to you. Ask your school if they direct deposit to your checking account or cut you a paper check.
