I sure hope you don't eat shellfish, shave your head, get tattoos, shave your beard, pick up sticks on Saturday, or wear clothing of two different textiles because then you would be going to that same "hell" that the homosexuals go to.
Plz to be learning the truth and not to be keeping with the retardation of falsehoods.

As former religious right-wing activist, and former staff attorney for the AFA Joe R. Murray said,
“Those on the Christian right, for whatever reasons, have become fixated on homosexuality. They are obsessed by it and perverse form of vengeance appears to be fueling their inquisition. I may be wrong, but I think actions are speaking much louder than words here.
The whole gay issue is no longer about the quest for the Truth; it is about fear and loathing. It is about shame and sorrow. It is anything but Christian.”
You're NOT going to make homosexuality go away. People are what they are and they feel what they feel. People need to get it into their heads that it is NOT a choice, and you CAN'T be CURED of it. You think that if it could be cured, homosexuals wouldn't choose to DO that? Sure...if there was a button you could push and "cure" them, pretty much every homosexual would do that. But there ISN'T! You think they WANT to live their lives with less human rights than others? You think they enjoy being ostracized and condemned by people who have no reason to do so except that they base everything in their lives on a 2000 year old book that was written by superstitious middle-eastern sheep herders?
There's more important things to worry about now. There's children starving. There's a genocide going on in Darfur. If you people would put 1/10 the energy into these things that you put into obsessing about homosexuality, you might actually be able to DO something POSITIVE in this world! Imagine that!

I disagree with you for multiple reasons.
1. The only thing homosexuals may need help with is feeling secure in a society that oftentimes condemns them. The condition itself of being homosexual is not in need of "help" or fixing.
2. You act like you CAN push a button to magically make your son (or daughter) not gay. There is no button, no "cure," no anything, nor are any of these necessary.
3. Reach out all you want, but stop doing it the way you're doing it. Invite people to your church to go to church, not to be degayified.
Homosexuality isn't a problem. It's not something you can fix. It's not something you NEED to fix. It's not bad or good or evil or anything. It's just a different sexual orientation. Worry about your own beef with God, or whatever, before you come patroling everyone else's behavior.

There are examples of babies being gay. As soon as they were able to walk and talk they chose to be girls. I know many Gay people who were born that way. God does not make junk. If the Creator made someone that way, we have no right to judge them. We have no right to judge anyone anyway, that is his job. I am not Gay, but I really feel for them as a population who is persecuted and treated fairly bad. I just cannot understand the republican ones though. Seems to be a correltion with money and privilidge....

A gay co-worker, on the issue of choice, once told me,"
Is it a choice to be afraid of getting beat up going to clubs at night?
Is it a choice wondering if I'm going to get fired if I get outed?
Is it a choice not being able to rent an apartment that I want because the owner is a bigot?
Is it a choice to be gay when there are so many closed minded people in the world who want you the change, go away or DIE?
If it were a choice, how many gays would REALLY be gay?"

The Bible consistently tells us that homosexual activity is a sin (Genesis 19:1-13; Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). Romans 1:26-27 teaches specifically that homosexuality is a result of denying and disobeying God. When a person continues in sin and disbelief, the Bible tells us that God “gives them over” to even more wicked and depraved sin in order to show them the futility and hopelessness of life apart from God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 proclaims that homosexual “offenders” will not inherit the kingdom of God.
God does not create a person with homosexual desires. The Bible tells us that a person becomes a homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27), and ultimately because of their own choice. A person may be born with a greater susceptibility to homosexuality, just as people are born with a tendency to violence and other sins. That does not excuse the person choosing to sin by giving into their sinful desires. If a person is born with a greater susceptibility to anger / rage, does that make it right for then to give into those desires? Of course not! The same is true for homosexuality.

According to God's Word, yes it definitely is sin. Whether one wants to admit this or not and pray for strength for change, is totally up to that person. I will state what God's Word has to say on anything, as it's God's Word that matters, not mine. But to push God's Word on someone, I won't. You either accept the infallible Word of God as truth or you don't. We will all be judged some day. You can try to justify homosexuality for any reason and try to convince (fool) yourself and others that it's ok, but you can't fool God. Pushing buttons is being forced. Force isn't love, so I would say no. This isn't the kind of help needed. God bless

You are a poor misguided soul.
Homosexuality is a natural part of being human, don't mistake your religious views for truth.
If I had children and one of them was gay or lesbian it would NOT matter to me as long as they are happy. I would hope that I would be able to help them adjust to a world that is so bigoted, so they can be happy.
No one can encourage a person to be gay and you cannot change your sexual orientation. IT IS NOT A CHOICE.
When will you bigoted, hateful, fearful people get this through your heads.
The more you profess your hatred and ignorance, the more likely you are to be homosexual and hate yourself for it. Think about THAT.

First, I am a christian.
Churches do take it lightly because you can see the angry outbursts from all the comments. I think the church would prefer to be seen as more loving and accepting than condemning. Jesus said come as you are.
I don't necessarily think homosexuals are going to hell. I think they can love and worship God same as anyone else and I would hate to make any of them feel that they couldn't, whether I agree with what they are doing or not. I have a lot of friends who do a lot of things that I don't agree with, but I love them and accept them all the same. But I choose not to make myself present at certain times. I would rather they see the love of God through me. Who am I to throw the first stone? God gave us all conviction, and we each choose how we deal with it.
And if I personally could push the button? Yeah, I probably would. I would want anyone in my family to feel welcome in church.

It's called an abomination and that comment comes from men.
It's not covered directly in the 10 commandements from God, nor did Jesus make any direct statements about it.
Most if it comes from old testiment and Paul.
However, do understand ALL sexuality not sanctified by marriage in God's eye (a vague term with no protocols) is not considered to be very holy.
