black and pink hairr?

okay so i want to dye my hair black and pink.

like hers;

i LOVE it. :)

but, my hair is brown right now, would i dye it black, then wait a while...then put pink in?

or how would i do that?

i would go to a salon...and bring that picture.


in order to make hair pink like that, you have to bleach it to blonde first, then put pink over it. i wouldn't suggest dying it all black first, because the chances of you getting the bleach to go blonde after dying it black are slim to none.

at a salon they'll seperate the bleached pieces with foil, then dye the rest of it black, and the bleached pieces pink. it's a little bit of a process because you have to bleach it, then wash it, dry it, and foil it again w/ the pink and the black, and then wash it again. but you dont want to risk screwing it up cuz you could end up with some weird colors and funky spots.

You would want to bleach out the parts your want pink first (use foils) and dye the rest black. Then wash everything out and seperate the bleached from black and go over it with a pink semi-permanent dye. Be careful when dying hair black because it takes out the natural pigment of the hair and it's hard to lighten again.

you would have to bleach the parts that you want pink and dye the parts you want black, once you put the pink on, the true color will only last a week, two if you're lucky

u will have to bleach the areas u want pink & dye whatever u want black...i recommend using "special effects" color, that`s what i use & it lasts a long time!!! i colored my hair 2 months ago & the color is still bright!!! u can buy it at hot topic, or on ebay...here is their website...

i think just get your brown hair lightened and then add the pink in. or just ask your hairstylist.
