If this pastor truly worked directly with God and he was a pastor that I personally knew and had fellowshiped with, then I would believe the Pastor. Doctors may have the prognosis, but only God gives the verdict of who dies and who lives.
I believe in doctors and doctors do a lot of good, but a life and death situation goes to the Lord.

Well.. They're both human.. and they both could be wrong.. or one could be right, etc.
I'll admit, if it was exactly as you say, the pastor said it was a 'Satanic curse'.. In all honesty, I would probably not put too much weight on what he said. While I do believe that those things CAN happen, I think that it is seriously few and far between. More often than not, (in fact in MOST cases) when people talk of curses and being possessed, etc.. I believe it's almost always people exagerating a situation that is nothing more than someones own choices, etc).
Anyway.. back to the question...
In all honesty, I would take the medicine.. and ask God to help me get better.
You say "...or the man that works directly with God"... well.. that, in my opinion, doesn't hold water either. While I am a Christian, I don't "look up to" or think that a pastor is "super-human" or anything. He doesn't have any more of a direct line to God than I do or any other person does. Anyone can reach out to God and does not have to go through a pastor/preacher, etc.. There is no need for a man to be in between me and God. Now, if there was a system where God made me get on a 'three way call' with him and the pastor.. ok.. but that's just not the way it works.
I believe a pastor is there to help 'guide' people to the truth and stuff like that.. but not that he sits down for lunch with God to discuss what to tell me.. etc. Ya know?

Considering there is HUGE paradox for having God communicate with humans I would go for the doctor.
I would still pray a lot though, but even as a Bishop myself I would take very little trust in anyone who hears god speaking.
Many believers know that medicine is helpful and when used right can be a very healing thing. I’m not belittling the fact there could be some evil thing happening to you, but if it is look at what you are doing to yourself before what some demon is doing to you..
If you outreach to as many messed up lives as I have you will know the worst demons are ourselves.

I would seek God's guidance in the matter myself. I do not believe that I would put my life in the hands of a pastor, who is of course "just a man", who can misinterpret. I would ask God which path to choose and if I did not get a reply, then in all honesty I would probably take the medication.

well lets see....thats not possible. a person cannot be in possession of a demon and then have control over what to believe. look at the word....POSSESSION. we arent possessing ourselves....a demon is.....they are in us...taking over us.....but theres just a bit of control...but we cant make it leave on our own. now.....if a doctor told us we were sick.....we wouldnt care. we probably wouldnt even be thinking right..all we know is that something is wrong....and right now....we dont know where we are. and thats where the priests and family come in. they must make the choice to believe whether i have a problem medically....or spiritually......but if it was up to me....and it was happening to one of my family members....i would go to the priest first....because ANYTHING can be done if God is the one doing it. God overrules medicine.......and even if there is something wrong medically and we choose to go to the priest because we didnt know....even then...God can still heal us without the medicine.....God is God....so your question has no possiblity.....and i believe this question was asked to mock Christians.
ugh.

The bible and what I have seen firsthand. I have seen people who were in the last phase of cancer healed. However, I also know the punishment for sin is death. You live. You die. That's the way it will be until the end of this system of things. Also to let you know god gives us knowledge to be able to help ourselves. I see your atheist. I will not push it. It's your choice.

Fascinating. It seems as though most here would render unto the doctor the respect due to his expertise in medicine.
But let an evolutionist tell them how species originated and spread, and all of a sudden they know better - no matter how poor their sources of information on the subject.
I guess that when your bum's rotting off it briefly focuses the mind.

Why do people call Jesus the carpenter, when he said he was the physician. Eventually Jesus with miracles and medicine, he will heal all diseases, with the help from man.
How come when people say that they quote the Koran, they never give the location on where to find out, if that reasoning agrees with them or not?

First of all, my "pastor" would never say such a thing, so obviously I am going to seek medical attention.
We are always advised to seek a second opinion when it comes to major medical treatment, so once I saw an oncologist I would devise a plan of action for going into remission as soon as possible.
My goodness- you ask the most ridiculous questions!

Leaving my own perspectives on abortion out of this equation, in spite of the straightforward actuality that in case you're going so a procedures as to come back to a decision directly to kill abortion docs, male or female for what you call homicide, then why now no longer different than for mght kill the female who had the abortion who did now no longer use secure practices and the guy who impregnated her and counseled her to get the abortion, even whether he had the choice to placed on a condom and use spermicide? then why do now no longer you kill additionally the docs whom skilled the docs whom skilled the abortion docs the thank you to do abortions? Why now no longer additionally then kill the persons whom designed the kit to end the abortion and those whom somewhat made the abortion kit?
