I honestly don't mind most Christians. The Christians that get on my nerves are the ones who are constantly trying to convert people here, even if it means blatantly disregarding the forum rules.
Somebody asked a question regarding Wiccanism yesterday, and sure enough - the first two answers were hellfire preaching from Christians who felt the need to interject their opinions where they didn't belong. (No - their comments didn't answer the question, so you can't even use that particular justification.)

Most people that I know don't hate Christians as a whole, but are upset by the constant haranguing by some Christians who feel the need to force others to believe as they do. I don't like to be told that I am going to some fictional hell because I don't believe in Jesus as the son of God.
And I don't like to have hypocritical "Christian" values forced on me or incorporated into my government.
I know that most Christians just go about their daily lives as best as they can. It is the boisterous few who are objectionable.

Having spent the last 10 years as a born again Christian immersed in Christianity I have witnessed the inner circle of many Christians and while I don't hate them I have found the majority to be judgemental hypocrites.
As for your additional blurb ... rationalize it however you want but that doesn't make it true.

Relax take a deep breath. It is not that bad. Truth is no matter who you are or where you are. Some one some where is going to not like you it's just the way it is. Christians have it pretty good these days count yourself blessed.

I cannot fathom why any logically minded person would really believe that a book written by a few chosen Jews in the first century would hold some magical truth to save mankind. I don't hate Christians, I pity them, and I fail to understand them. It doesn't matter if they are "true Christians" (and who are you to decide who is?), they believe something irrational, and dare I say it, quite stupid. I do not want Christians to run the society I live in, nor do I want their ignorance-based views to be inflicted upon me, but that does not equate to hate.

I don't hate all Christians... In fact, the ones I dislike, I despise them so much I don't even bother wasting my energy on hating them. Hate takes up energy. I use my energy for other things.
I despise the people who shove their religion down my throat, the ones that condemn me to Hell for the mere fact of my existence, the ones who seem unable to stop preaching, and all the close-minded, two-faced, hypocritical, bigoted hatemongers. Sadly, I find most of them on this board, and I haven't read the words of one of them who wasn't a Christian.
I don't go out of my way to despise people. People just ought to get what's coming to them.

never said that i hated stereotypes.
what i hate are folk that sit there on their high horse and pick and choose what they will follow out of a divine book of law.
these same folk will try to pick and choose their peers..(they are not REAL christians)
I cant stand the Persecution Complex. where people act like they are being persecuted in North America because of their Christian Religion. all because there are laws that stop them from forcing their beliefs on our children in public schools that we all have to pay for.

I don't hate Christians, much. It's Christianity - and all other religions - I can't stand.
It's a little like that old saying 'Hate the sin; be mildly repelled by the sinner'.
