there is a button on the console above the gearshift. looks like is is supposed to light up but doesnt. also there is a wire coming from under the glove that is not hooked up. any ideas?

overdrive is already on the gearshift.

Erica I will find out about this button tomorrow. If you would like to contact me tomorrow then I will tell you what its function is. It sounds like maybe an overdrive switch and I will just make sure. As for this hanging wire, well there is alot of wires and some never are connected. One probably fell out of its fastener and needs to be put back.

I know the overdrive is on the gearshift, but what about the overdrive on/off button? Is that on the gearshift or the console?

if its right next to the shifter its to turn your overdrive off. dont touch it.
and if you mean from under the glove box....i have no clue! theres a million wires behind your dash for a million different things.
