No. Son of God is capitalized. Proper Noun. Deity. He was fully God and fully human. Actually every man, woman and child born are children of their father Satan, because we are born in sin. By one man, Adam, sin passed to all men. To become a son of God, we must choose to believe God's Son, Jesus, died on the cross and is the propitiation for our sins. Then we are adopted into the family of God and are called Christian.

Jesus was perfect. However he said the people who do gods will are his "brothers and sisters" We are supposed to be Christ-like. We can be made perfect through Christ. That does not mean some mystery saving. It means LISTEN to him. God sent him here not only as a sacrifice but also as a teacher. Jesus said everything I say and do my father told me to.That is not a direct quote. For that read your bible. Preferably, an older one as they are changing the new ones. Taking god's name out and calling Jesus god.

Ahhhhh......no, you are not the same as Jesus. I am sorry to say that you are most certainly nothing like Jesus. For one thing Jesus was with God always, he has always existed and is THE Son of God (although this is not fully understood). All of us should be considered more like God's adopted children rather then children of God along the lines of Jesus.

To understand this more, you need to understand the Holy Trinity. In the Holy Trinity, God is, of course, one. One is the Holy Spirit, which is not God himself, but the Spirit is God, so the two are actually one, but God in His Majesty, is God and the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit in its own right is not God Himself. Hence, Jesus, as One of the Trinity, with the same respects, so God is Jesus, yet, Jesus himself is not God, but substance of Jesus is. In the Trinity, all Three are Individual parts of One, yet only God is all Three.

So the essence of your question is this, if you are the same as Jesus, are you also God? no.

We are all children of God, but Jesus was truly God Himself, incarnated as a man, the "Son of God" in the flesh.

There is also a principal for the dual nature of Jesus, being conscious in that He is a Man in the flesh, yet, also that he is God in the Spirit.

I don't believe that. Only those born into God's family ('born-again') are God's children. Just like Christ said. so I'm God's son, but not His Son. I wasn't God's child before I was saved.

God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 11:34) so yes women and children who are born into His family are His children as well.

Is the Trinity a belief in three gods?

Christians are monotheistic and believe that God is one. But both in His work in accomplishing salvation through the Person of Jesus Christ and through biblical study it has become clear that His oneness in fact comprises three Persons- Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and the third Person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit. Mary is not part of the Godhead. The notion of God, who is three-in-one, is part of both the mystery and greatness of God. God is in essence one while in Persons three. This truth helps us understand God as truly personal and having the capacity to relate to other persons. As well, Christians confirm the holiness, sovereignty, and greatness of God.

How can Jesus be the Son of God?

Scripture affirms that Jesus was conceived supernaturally by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. It does not in any way claim that Jesus was directly God the Father's biological and physical son. It rejects the notion of the Arabic word for son walad, meaning physical son, for the word ibin, which is the title of relationship.

Jesus is the Son in a symbolic manner designating that He was God the Word who became man in order to save humankind from its sin.

The virgin birth was supernatural as God the Holy Spirit conceived in Mary, without physical relations, Jesus the Messiah.

Even the Quran acknowledge this.

In this manner even the Qur'an affirms the miraculous birth of Christ (see Surah 19:16-21). Jesus was in this sense "God's unique Son." During His earthly ministry He carried out the will of the Father. Notably the Qur'an affirms Jesus' supernatural birth, life of miracles, His compassion, and ascension to heaven. (see Surah 19:16-21,29-31; 3:37-47, 5:110.)

This truth is revealed in the Injil-John 3:16. Even the Qur'an states in Surah 3:55 that "Allah said: O Isa [Jesus], I am going to terminate [to put to death] the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me."1 What other way could this concept have any meaning apart from Jesus' death for sin and His subsequent resurrection?

Muslims believe that God took Jesus from the cross and substituted Judas in His place, or at least someone who looked like Jesus. He was then taken to heaven where He is alive and from where one day He will return.

In his prehuman existence as Michael, Jesus was the firstborn of all creation. This means that Jesus was the first thing ever created by God. In fact, Jesus helped God create everything else, which is why he's called the "Master Worker" (Proverbs 8:30). Jesus was also perfect, which we are not. So no, you're not the same as Jesus.

No. Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God.
Yes. We are all children of God.

I was going to explain "only begotten" and our being children of god more, but found that that raised too many other questions.

You are exactly as you say, absent One important thing of course; Jesus had No ego.

Jesus, it can be argued, was the "son of God"; yet we cannot yet define "God" so the title is open to the imagination.

It was said that Jesus loved being called the "son of man" as it pleased him in this association being recognized that he was part of man.

Jesus was an enlightend one. One who was just like you, yet highly evolved spiritualy; his thinking was far and above the linear thoughts we have as "mankind"; he often spoke in parables to tell long stories of morals in a short time to many; he did this as his message was important, yet his time was short; and then there was Rome to deal with also.

Yes, your like Jesus, he would be pleased you say this as your message to Millions (on this website) still speaks his name; and you maybe felt you were being egotistical or provacative in this statement?

Think again how your words speak truth. :)

And that's what Son of God meant in the Bible. But Jesus may have been the Son of Man, a new step in evolution involving a humanitarian of higher ideals. Which even if he didn't exist, his ideas to represent.

I think 99% of Christians have no clue what Jesus was saying...NO CLUE!
