I know exactly how you feel my girl who is 14 is in the hospital because she has cancer, every time when she has surgery or chemo I cry also when my kids were younger and cried when they got shots I would always feel so bad and I would want to cry too but you can't. Your their mother and you have to be strong for them. I doesn't really help if you have to people crying when only one is in pain and needs comfort. Sometimes when my 14 year old sees that I'm more nervous than she is it makes her more nervous and she tells me to "chill out" because it doesn't help if I'm nervous too I'm her mother and should be strong for her so if she needs to be comforted I can do that.

Believe it or not, my son doesn't cry when he gets shots. There is something very strange about his personality, that he actually seems to like pain. If someone doesn't see him, and walks right into him and knocks him over, he actually smiles while getting back up. I don't understand it, and sometimes worry about it. But I think maybe he's just less sensitive to pain than most kids are. He cries about lots of stuff, but just not physical pain. If he's buckled in, and we stop the car, he wants to get out immediately, and will cry if we're too slow to unlatch his buckles.

Plz dont cry, another answer said they look up to you...they do. They watch to see if this is bad or alright. Relax and be strong. Also, get used to it. You are not the only one out there either. I feel guilty too, but I dont go all out and cry along with them. My girl is 16 months and is starting to realize whats goin on and its harder because she cries more now then when she was younger. Just support them and comfort them.

You cant show emotion such as crying when your child is getting a shot. It shows them something is NOT ok with you as well. Just love on them and TRY your darndest to hold back those tears. The shots are for the best and they will keep them healthy and strong. I hold both hands and give forehead kisses while they are being done. I know seeing your child in pain is the worse feeling ever but be strong for your children.

I know how you feel. My son is 8 months old now and every time I take him for shots he screams and cries and it breaks my heart. But it makes me feel better to know that it's helping him out in the long run!

It is always hard to watch your child in pain. Just remember why they are getting the shots. How would you feel if they were to get one of the diseases the shots prevent? My guess is you would feel pretty bad, huh. Keep that in mind. As mothers, we have to do a lot of rotten things sometimes. They are not always fun! My kindergarten daughter recently got a shot and it about broke my heart to hear her pleading with me.

I am on my third child and I still cry when they get shots. Your job as a mom is to protect them so we definitely feel sad when someone is inflicting pain on them even if it is for their benefit. You should see how bad I cried when my pediatrician pierced my girls ears at 9 months. I cried so hard he did not charge me for it!!!

Yeah I have the ones days ... Some days such as you I simply wanna move cry within the nook all alone. The fine factor to do is to truthfully move cry and it'll make you suppose lots larger ... It sound bizarre however a few days I like to cry it simply releases all of it. Don't fear you'll in most cases suppose excellent day after today, that regularly occurs to me ... I suppose rather crappy at some point after which the next day to come I suppose like i am on most sensible of the World. I desire you suppose larger. x

I know it is hard and understand where you are coming from. I have a 2 year old and yes it has been hard, but I keep reminding myself that the little poke is just to save his life. It is best for him and he will most likely not remember or understand when he gets older. Don't feel guilty; thye little one will catch onto this and learn to manipulate you in the future
