No--I am who/what I am by the Grace of God. His approval is all that matters.

I use people as a sort of mirror so that I can see my own actions from a different light. I value the opinions of certain people I trust, because I know that they care about me enough to be honest with me. I try to keep my boss happy with my behavior so that I can continue working at my job. It's prudent to notice what others think of you.

But on the whole, am I emotionally invested in the judgements people pass on me, whether they think I am a loser or whatever? Nah. I just be me. If they can't live with that, that's their problem. It's more important that I'm able to look in the mirror in the morning and like who I see.

Ok, I am going to be honest. I would love to say I dont care, but I do. I really want people to like me. Its an insecurity thing. I am not sure where that part of me came from, but its there. As you can imagine it makes it hard to be an atheist in Texas!

It depends on the people. I do not care what strangers think of me. I do not care about the opinions of people who I do not respect. I do care what the people I love, care about, and respect think of me. I strive to be someone that I can be proud of.

I have been the "black sheep" of my family my whole life. Never being accepted for who I am. I am 30 years old now and quite frankly.. i care more about what society thinks about me then my family.. Atleast in society SOME people might accept you.

Absolutely not. Read my profile. It says so. I will, on ocassion, entertain someone's opinion if it is sincere. However, since that is such a rarity in respect to hard-wired attitudes in ignoramuses, I rarely make the effort. I'm predjudice. It just saves alot of time in these strange days.

Not in the slightest. I've out-lived my entire family, been forced to retire, and haven't had a real friend in decades. I'm truly beyond caring.

I used to be that way with families and with friends, with people I worked with, I cared so much what people thought of me that it was wearing me out, I tried to please people so people would except me, I changed so much that I became someone I didn't like, because it wasn't me or for me and not even for God, it was to please others..But I have a sister who once told me I have changed, and I wasn't who I used to be, and that made me stop and think. I was pleasing people and not myself, then I realizes later I was to please God not people. So now I am pleased with myself knowing that I am pleasing God and the others oh well, they either excpet me for who I am or they don't, I am who I am, and will not change for no one just to be excepted by them...you just can't please everyone..

No, not at all. I care what Jesus thinks about me.

Generally not... just my boss, on whom my career depends, and my close friends and family, who are generally forgiving and the type to cut me some slack. That' s pretty much it.
