I don't want to tell you why I do, but I don't really want to hate Him anymore, I just don't know how to stop. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't lecture me about how it's bad to hate Him, or tell me to just get over it. I need actual help. TIA!

I used to be in your shoes...I was molested as a child and I grew up thinking that it happened because God was punishing me. I hated him for allowing those things to happen. I came to conclusion that if there was an omnipotent God that he was cruel and unjust because such attrocities happened in the world. However, when I got older I met a Chrisitian who explained to me about the devil and about how he can influence the feelings, beliefs, desires, and actions of people who are not in Christ. When I started realizing that without Jesus people could be easily manipulated by the devil I knew I had to tell people about Jesus. I don't know why you hate God, but if you want to talk about it privately...off of yahoo...here is my myspace.

Dear Tia, find out all you can eclectically about God, Creator, Allah, Yahweh and so forth. Find out about the psychological term projection. Make up your own mind about what you read. Even explore what the Atheists claim. I think perhaps, you may dislike yourself. If you do, and may not know it, you project the hate on God. The Creator and God for me are the same. I think the Creator is about love, peace, compassion, empathy, and so forth. If we are truly faithful, no miracle is impossible. If we fail, if we think we had enough faith, and then hate Creator, it is our own fault. Sometimes bad things open good doors, sometimes are prayers are answered but we fail to recognize it. Look for the bad in the good and the good in the bad. It is ALL your own choice, it is called spiritual discernment. The beauty of a democratic free nation is that you have a choice. Look for the clues, like a coincidence or synchronicity, is it really? We can almost describe and explain anything scientifically, but the main way to know Creator is to have faith. Jesus is a good teacher, as is Black Elk, the book Black Elk Speaks is good. Read the bible and keep close to what Jesus is claimed to have said. We are living in another time, there must be space for how the word fits into the present day. Jesus is surely a Master Rabbi, very good for showing us mortal beings how to behave in a good way. Although, as humans we are not capable of totally being good all the time. We must forgive but not forget. Hope this helps! : )

In all honesty, I don't KNOW the answer to this.. but I can give you some thoughts.

I think that it's very important that you talk to him.. Even if you hate him. I really do believe that is the only way to work things out. Even if it is to start with just a minute a day.. or even saying one thing to him a day.. Just.. establishing that communication..

Even tell him what you're saying here. . . Just simply say something like "God, right now you know I hate you... I don't want to hate you.. I want help to change.".. even if that's all you can say... It would be a start.. And, if you honestly want the help, as it very much sounds like you do.. I believe that God will help.. It is Gods will for us to be close to him.. and I believe that when we reach out to him in a time of need.. he is there to help us. Sometimes we don't get an 'answer' right away, but he does hear us.

I think if you could just stop hating him all at once, it would be great and all that.. BUT that probably isn't the case.. As I said, start small.. Just let him know you want the help.. Reach out just that little bit.. He may show you reasons not to hate him.. He may calm your heart.. things like that.

God Bless.. and I do hope that you find comfort.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the reason you hate God is not because of anything he's done (or not done) but because of stuff thats happened to you in your life.

You need to ask God to put things into perspective for you so you can see where the real issues lie. You should also look into things in a bit more detail. Knowing why God seemingly allows nasty stuff to happen to people and in the world in general and what his plan is will give you a better grasp on the things that have taken place in your life and what the ultimate purpose of those events was. That the world and it's machinations isn't just about you.

If you are serious about wanting to stop hating God (you'll probably discover it's not really Him, he's just a convenient target) then talk to someone you know who is a Christian and ask them lots of questions. Ask them to pray for you (I will too if you want)....

The chi xi stigma is the stigma of being unmarried and hard-working or a friendly worker. The business world, for example, is not based, in general, on the idea that it's a good idea to leave people outside the money system. Otherwise, they might be induced to pursue their own religion or their own health, God forbid. Look up www.blueletterbible.com for the chi xi stigma in Revelation 13:18. From a mythological point of view, which the Bible disagrees with (2 Timothy 4:4 - They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.), God is the original unmarried, hard worker and Jesus is one too. Therefore, they are stigmatised, or deemed unnecessary, gay, frustrated, hiding their true feelings etc. This viewpoint is so prevalent in society that the values can seep over into how God is viewed. Hate essentially has connotations of identifying with somebody else so much that boundaries become blurred. Everybody has their own individual consciousness.

If I where you I would try some professional counseling. You can find counselor's that are religious and can help you with your issues with God. And don't worry tell them before hand that you don't want preached at, you want your issues dealt with.

Also try going to the self help & religious section of your local library. There are some books that deal with the way you feel and are wrote by people who have been there. I read Dr. Phil's wifes book it was really inspirational and dealt a small part with God it might be good for a a starter then after if you have read it maybe find a church where you feel comfortable.

Hope this helps

I'm guessing you hate him because of hurtful and difficult things that have happened to you, and you're thinking "how could God allow this to happen, why me?" But really, its not God, you can't blame him. It is Satan, and sin. All bad things are a result of sin, not God. There can not be joy without sorrow, although you may be going through an Extremely hard time in your life, this is when you need God most. First, focus on the things he has done for you, if you can't think of any, I will name 2: You're still alive, and if you believe Jesus is the Son of God and that he rose from the dead, then you're going to Heaven, where there is no pain, or sorrow, or bordem (despite what people may think) What is better than that? Next, pray that he will help you through this time, and read his word and his promises. They will comfort you if you are willing to listen :) God bless, and I'll be praying for you :)

If you really don't want to hate God anymore then I don't believe that you do hate him anymore.

Pray sincerely and ask him to forgive you, he is waiting for you and he loves you. Jesus never stopped loving you. Repent and don't sin anymore. Start reading the Bible.

Tell God your sorry and you don't want to do this any more.
I'll be praying for you and I have prayed for you.

If you do this God will not turn you away he loves you. When he died on the cross you were on his mind. He rose again the 3rd day and he has eternal life waiting for you if you will accept him.

Most people have feelings like yours because they blame god for the problems they are having and the problems of the world. First, I suggest getting an older bible out. Study it. God is love. The problems of this world are because of sin. Which is disobedience to god. There is a process we have to go through before he changes things. He wants all who will to follow him. He promises to change the way things are. To rid the world of sin once and for all. He also promises to punish those who are disobedient. People say he doesn't exist. If you read his word. You will see how he has fulfilled promises in the past and present. You are the only one who can change how you are feeling. The bible says draw close to god and he will draw close to you.

You are like me. When things go well i immediately turn to god, however when something is wrong i blame him instead of taking the responsibility for my own actions. If you hate god because something in your life is not right, then remember, god gave you free will. Its not his job to shape your life its yours. You make your own decisions, and hating god will not make anything better. It will only fill your heart with unnecessary hate and take away any speck of hope that you have left. No one can help you stop hating him, you have to figure out the core of your problem and the actual reason for feeling like this. God will always love you no matter what you do because your his baby just like all of us. If you start thinking of the negative, remember that if you turn your back away from god, he will do the same to you. Go to church and seek inspiration. Find ways to enrich your life, and when things start going well, you'll find yourself admiring god for the amazing being that he is. God Bless
