A girl I know has this pretty pronounced(not typical flat scar, but raised-up dark brown) incision scar, I think, about 3 to 4 inches wide horizontally just above the pubic hair; what kind of operation would result in that kind of scar? I am just too embarrassed to ask her. Thanks a lot.

She is only 18; so I don't really know if she has had a baby or not.

It is from some kind of surgery. It could be from a C-Section, but could also be from another type of gynecological operation. I had an ovary removed and the scar looks like that.

If she is not shy about showing it off, she would probably be open to talking about it. It sounds like a typical c-section scar, but you'll never know until you ask. Just ask.

That sounds to me like a scar from a c-section. Do you know if this girl had a baby? hmm... if not it may be some sort of surgery to do with the uterus.

If it's on one side it will be an appendix scar.

how old is she? sounds like it could be a c-section scar. or some bladder or abdominal surgery.
