If so, is your dog a toy dog, which tend to be more indoor dogs? Just wondering out of curiousity how many people share their personal living space such as the bed and bath with their dogs.

My dogs are definitely allowed in the bed with me. They're medium sized mixed breeds (40-65 lbs). They are bathed in the bathtub, also.

Yes. I have 2 Chihuahuas, one is a puppy, one is full grown. They've always slept in the bed with me since the day I got them, and tend to hog a queen size bed from me. I would also share my bed with a gigantic Labrador/ Golden Retriever when it would come stay with me, but never bathed it. Before I got the lil one, I would bathe the oldest (Buddy) and 3 guinea pigs in a small bucket outside only because I didn't want to rinse the bathtub out but ended up using it each time since it's much bigger and easier to bathe them in the tub. Also, not as hard to clean as I was making it out to be. I think a lot of dog owners do this.

My girls are my kids. Two mini rat terriers, each about 17 pounds. When they need a bath, it's into the tub they go - the only extra thing I do is put a hair catcher on the drain.

And they sleep with us every night in bed, moving under the covers or on top of, depending on the temperature

I have had 3 German Shepherds in the last 25 years, and all of them have always slept in my bed with me when they want too. If it is too hot, they will sleep on the floor. They are very well behaved and sleep quietly at the bottom of the bed except if there is a storm sometimes they cuddle up closer. I take them to the groomers though to get a bath and groomed. I dont find anything offensive with that. They are very protective and loyal and clean pets which I love and trust completely!

My dog sleeps in his own bed I wash him in my tub about every two weeks and I clean tub after I am done. He is a Standard Poodle and for the most part he is an inside dog, but he can run with the most active dogs around.

Yes - my dog sleeps in my bed and she is forced to bathe in the bathtub. She's about 40 lbs - if I had a toy dog I'd be afraid of smushing it on accident.

My dog is a 22 pound terrier who sleeps on my bed. When the weather is warm (most of the year where I live)he gets his bath via the garden hose. In cold weather he gets a shower inside.

My pit sleeps in my bed with me, and baths in the tub. She also thinks she is a lap dog even though she weighs 65 lbs.

My dog sleeps on my bed, (not next to me, he always finds a way to smell) and bathes in the bathtub when we can bathe him. He is about 45 pounds.
