Usually, dates are a little ahead of the real expiration date, so to test the eggs put them an a glass of water with a little salt
If they float, they are not so fresh, they should sink to the bottom of the glass.
make sure there are no cracks, and they don´t smell funny. If you kept them in the fridge, they should be at room temperature before you "test" them

Probably. Just before you use them put each one in a cup of cold water. If it floats, it's bad.

It's only 5 days out, I'll bet they're fine.

I think it would be fine to use them in the next few days.
The date on them is the sell by date , if they still look good when you crack them, they are good.
