i was given the computer with the windows 98 cd it has windows 98 and se 98 in it it has a keycode on the back but the code does not work . how do i install windows 98 when i cant get past the keycode ?

Unless you are mixing up the Upper and Lower case, it sounds like the disk and the code do not match. You will need to find a matched set..

If you insert any key you are given or down loaded it won't work. the best deal for you is to buy windows 98 it is very cheap.
